Customize your solution with our 3 different approaches:
• Beacon-based sdAb discovery
• sdAb naïve/immunized library
Single-domain antibodies (sdAbs) represent a promising next-generation therapeutic antibody technology. Their exceptional tissue penetration and ease of engineering and production make sdAbs particularly valuable in cancer immunotherapy and other applications. They have become ideal building blocks for novel antibody drugs, including CAR-T and bispecific antibodies, and have achieved encouraging clinical success.
ProBio offers three different sdAb discovery approaches and customizes the discovery solution based on your specific needs. Our one-stop sdAb discovery service will accelerate your research speed from target to preclinical candidate molecules in various modalities.

One-Stop sdAb Discovery Solution
By Jun. 2024
Although library-based sdAb discovery technology is well-developed, some limitations remain, such as sequence diversity loss, difficulties in conducting functional assays, and the considerable time required.
To overcome these challenges, ProBio has integrated the proprietary alpaca single B cell preparation technology, the advanced Beacon® single B cell screening platform and ProSpeed™ antibody expression platform. This novel approach allows you to obtain more functional sdAb binders with higher sequence diversity in as fast as 9 weeks.
ProBio offers two classic library-based sdAb discovery services: sdAb naïve library and immunized library. We combine these high-quality libraries with customized phage display panning strategies and our proprietary SPSSdAb™ screening platform to help you discover high-potential sdAb antibody leads.
sdAb Naïve Library
300 Alpaca donors
Library size: 2×1011 (expanding)
In frame rate/ORF rate: >95%
sdAb Immunized Library
Easy access to Alpaca farms
Using only naïve Alpaca for each project
Feel free to download the poster to discover how we create antibody leads for CAR-T therapy via our sdAb library.
2 antibody formats expressed during the phage display screening phase
The supernatant of prokaryotic expression can be used for detection through ELISA, FACS, and SPR ranking
