Development of cell-based functional assay with high efficiency

In vitro bioactivity is one of the critical quality attributes (CQA) during biologics manufacturing and quality control. In this webinar, we introduce the application of cell-based functional assay in quality control of biologics manufacturing. We mainly focus on the development procedure of a cell-based assay meeting requirements of method qualification/validation. Furthermore, we deeply discuss the challenges and solutions of cell-based functional assay development with in-depth case studies.

Speaker Profile.

Dr. Lihao Wang graduated from Peking University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree .Then he studied at the University of Oxford and obtained his Ph.D. degree in clinical medicine in 2019. He joined GenScript in 2020 and served as Senior Scientist of In vitro Bioassay. He is the leader of the In vitro Bioassay Platform and also in charge of many biologics CMC projects in bioassay. He has developed tens of assays successfully, and established a method development workflow with high efficiency.
