Biography

Dr. Ying Li is the Director of Process Development for ProBio (GenScript’s CDMO business). She leads the CMC process development services for protein and antibody, and provides technical leadership in new technology platform development. She joined the company in 2022, bringing over 10 years of biotechnology experience spanning multiple specialties, including bioseparation, bioproduction, viral clearance and MSAT. Prior to joining ProBio, Dr. Li was an R&D Manager in MilliporeSigma (USA), leading the development of the company’s Gene Therapy manufacturing platform. Dr. Li obtained her B.S (1st Class Honor) in Chemical Engineering from National University of Singapore in 2012 and Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2017. She is dedicated to innovation in bioprocessing field and a frequent speaker at international conferences including ACS and AIChE.
